Southern Cross Lodge offers a total of 52 rooms including Studio Rooms (twin or super king), Lodge Rooms (twin or super king), Triple rooms (are a great option for groups of friends, school groups), and Lodge Family Rooms (super king with bunks). All our rooms feature an ensuite, TV, a heater and receive daily service checks.

When you stay with us you will receive a continental breakfast which is included in your room rate. If you are looking for a meal at night, there are some great places to dine in Methven. If there is a group of you, we can cater cooked meals for groups of 10 or more - please enquire if you require meals. Our evening meals are of a good hearty New Zealand fare, two-course buffet style. We can of course cater to any special dietary requirements with these meals as well.

Our comfy lounge is a great place to unwind, make new friends whilst socialising with other guests, or just enjoy the views out to Mt Hutt. Featuring a cosy fireplace, pool table, board games, TV/DVD, and wireless internet, this is a great place for you to relax and unwind. Our dining room has seating for up to 50 people and can cater for most groups. Breakfast is served here from 7.00 am – 9.00am or by arrangement.

There is a 12 metre outdoor pool available for use for those brave enough in Winter and why not take a moment to relax in our outdoor heated spa, where you can stare up at the night sky after a big day on the slopes or out tramping.
