Leave Christchurch airport, Turn right under the bridge - follow signs for "Timaru / Hornby" Stay in the middle lane for 3.2 km, turn right on State Highway 73 - the West Coast Road - travel 41 km to Darfield.

On the west side of Darfield Turn left on to Highway 77 / Inland Scenic Route 72, Drive 41 km STAYING on the main road to Rakaia River - going down a steep hill to the flat Mt Hutt Lodge is well signed @ the river DO NOT CROSS BRIDGES, Turn right You will find 500 metres up the Zig Zag Road If using GPS our address is Mount Hutt Lodge Zig Zag Road, Windwhistle, Selwyn
