Brown Pub Methven

As you pull into Methven Mt Hutt Village and stand at the crossroads of the two main streets (one fittingly named Main Street!) you’ll see two pubs on opposite corners. Ours is the Brown one. Warm in atmosphere and welcome, you’ll feel like a local from the moment you walk through the door. The Brown Pub is located right in the middle of town with bars,  family restaurant,  affordable accommodation, the Methven Liquor Centre and naturally a great time.

It also helps that we live in New Zealand’s best little country town. Methven is a dynamic mix of generations old farms and up and coming real estate.
It’s a lively ski town in the winter bringing with it an influx of travellers both international and domestic, who are all up for a good time.

In the summer it’s a peaceful place to stop on a sightseeing tour and relax amongst some of the regions most beautiful scenery. Its also home to some of the kindest, most generous people you will ever meet. Methven is still very much a community, we love it here and hope you will too.
