Ashburton Holiday Park

The Ashburton Holiday Park is set at the southern end of Tinwald, Ashburton.  A hidden gem within the Tinwald Domain, the park offers a range of accommodations from a 29-bed Lodge, self-contained studio units, and family cabins to budget Backpacker beds. The generous sized powered and non-powered sites provide a great range of accommodation options for singles, families, travelers and groups.

The Holiday Park has a well-equipped kitchen, which has pots, pans, crockery and cutlery saving you from bringing your own. The Park has three ablution blocks all with laundries, meaning every site is a short walk to the ablutions.

The Domain offers an arboretum of mature trees and is adjacent to a large pond with a healthy duck population! The bridge to McTague Island in the centre of the pond is a great place to regenerate and enjoy nature. A children's playground, tennis court, basketball court , disc golf course , public toilets and free electric BBQs are available to guests.

If that's not enough, the Plains Historical and Vintage Railway, the Lynn Woodworking Museum, the Vintage Car Club and Miniature Railway are also located within the domain.
