Amara is a space built on love and a passion for hospitality. We aren’t just a cocktail bar, we are a little bit of everything - a cozy, welcoming space designed to bring people together.

Our cocktails are handcrafted, using in-house infusions and syrups, fresh juices, and high quality spirits. We pour craft beer brewed in Methven and our wine list is carefully curated with a strong focus on exceptional New Zealand producers. If it is on our menu, it’s because we love it ourselves.

We also offer a range of high quality food items. We bake our own focaccia, have sourced the best cheeses and meats in the South Island, and offer some house made sweet treats to enjoy along side your beverage of choice.
